Clearly it’s been a while since I’ve been on here… it’s crazy how easily time slips away from us. So much has happened in the last couple of years it’s difficult to think of where to start the update…
First things first, we’re still living in Dubai. It’s our 4th year here in this desert city and much has changed over the past couple of years. The school itself has grown and friends have come and gone, but the weather’s still consistent! Actually, last year I don’t think it rained here at all! We’ve become wrapped up in the easy lifestyle – 7-seater SUV, endless shopping malls, beaches, food… it’s a bit of a luxurious lifestyle. Definitely not something I’d be able to do at home – the financial bonuses are doing well to keep us here!
As for myself, I got ENGAGED, got MARRIED and now have a cute little 2-bedroom apartment in Dubai that the hubby and I live in all by ourselves! No more roomies – although they were great to live with! I’m happy to not be living like a university student anymore!
I guess one of the easiest ways to tell the story is in small chunks – forget the long elaborate descriptive writing! At this point, it would take me a ridiculously long time to catch up in detail. So, my plan is to share a few highlights of events from the past couple of years in the hopes that it will help to tell the story for me…
